Overview
Thorn Baker Industrial Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative (Afters Shift) to join a busy refurbishment and production facility in Chesterfield.
This is a temp-to-perm opportunity offering consistent long-term work, weekday shifts, and the chance to secure a permanent position within a growing and supportive business.
This role will suit candidates with experience in warehouse, production, manufacturing, packing, dispatch, or refurbishment environments.
Key Responsibilities
Removing labels from products in preparation for shot blasting and refurbishment
Filling, testing, and preparing products for rework
Carrying out pressure testing and quality control checks
Painting and finishing refurbished items to a high standard
Packing, repackaging, and preparing goods for dispatch
Organising stock within the warehouse
Loading and unloading materials (up to 15kg)
Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment
Requirements
Previous experience in a warehouse, production, manufacturing, or refurbishment role preferred
Strong attention to detail and quality control mindset
Comfortable with manual handling and lifting up to 15kg
Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
Good organisational skills and strong work ethic
Shift Pattern
Monday to Wednesday: 14:15 – 22:45 (Afters Shift)
Thursday: 13:30 – 21:30 (Afters Shift)
Friday: 08:30 – 16:30 (Day Shift)
Consistent weekday working pattern with no weekend work.
