SANZA Teaching Agency is delighted to be recruiting for a dedicated and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) with a specialism in Maths and Science to join a highly supportive Secondary SEN school in Bromley.
This rewarding role offers the opportunity to make a genuine difference in the lives of young people with a range of Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and diagnosed mental health conditions. The school provides a nurturing, therapeutic environment where students are supported to overcome barriers to learning and achieve positive outcomes both academically and personally.
The Role:
Deliver targeted Maths and Science intervention sessions to small groups and individual students.
Support teaching and learning across Key Stages 3 - 5.
Work closely with teachers, therapists and pastoral staff to provide a holistic approach to student development.
Assist with lesson planning, preparation and classroom management.
Build positive relationships with students and support their emotional wellbeing alongside their academic progress.The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
HLTA status or extensive TA experience supporting Maths and Science.
Strong subject knowledge in Maths and Science.
Experience supporting students with SEN, SEMH needs, or mental health challenges.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
