How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Role: Technical Writer

    Location: Burgess Hill, UK

    Duration: 6 months (initially)

    Outside of IR35


    Duties


    In this role, working for a large global pharma company you are required to maintain the documentation architecture for the UK and IEs affiliate notifications issued to external customers. Effectively Managing updates & revisions as require

    Implement the marketing plan for customer notifications, in alignment with the department's strategy and our wider business goals. Ongoing assessment of volumes and types of affiliate notifications using available reporting tools ensuring oversight of product quality and safety for Roche stakeholders. Be recognised as the ‘subject matter expert’ for documentation and work closely with the customer experience/insights team to identify 'pain' and 'gain' points. Support / Train and educate commercial and technical teams in sourcing and and self serving customer notification data and documents.


    Essential Requirements


    Degree and/or postgraduate degree in a Science subject - Biomedical Science prefered

    Excellent problem solving and communication skills

    Proven ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders

    Ability to work in a highly complex, cross-functional environment and stay focused on critical goals and outcomes

    Proven Track record in writing customer facing technical communications


    Desirable


    Technical Writer qualification

    Operational knowledge of the NHS/ context of healthcare

    Understanding of the laboratory diagnostics market

    Experience of Microsoft Office / Word / Excel / PowerPoint and Google suite to intermediate level

    Experience of CRM systems
