Head of AP, Billing & Credit Control | Interim | London
This is a strong interim opportunity for a senior transactional finance leader.
A well-known, design-led business with 60+ UK locations needs an experienced Head of AP, Billing & Credit Control on an interim basis. You'll be leading a team of around 25 across AP, AR, and client billing for a business that's growing fast and needs someone who can keep up.
There's real transformation on the agenda, automation, system improvements, and a team to develop.
- 4 days in the office (Mon-Thurs)
- 6 month fixed term contract
- Salary: £100 - £115k (pro rata)
- Flexible start and finish time
- Must be available on short notice, maximum 4 weeks' notice
The role covers:
- Leading a team of ~25 across AP, AR, and client billing
- Overseeing supplier onboarding, invoice processing, and payment runs
- Driving cash collection, reducing aged debt, and managing customer disputes
- Ensuring accurate and timely billing across flexible workspace products and property services
- Working closely with Sales, Operations, and Legal to prevent revenue leakage
- Leading automation, digitalisation, and system improvement projects
- Maintaining strong financial controls, compliance, and approval workflows
You'll need:
- Senior-level AP, AR, or credit control experience
- Proven team leadership across a sizeable function
- A hands-on approach to process improvement and automation
- London (near Tottenham Court Road)
Reports into the Finance Director.
