Capital Actuary - £110,000 - £120,000
I am keen to speak with nearly/newly qualified actuaries in the capital modelling space that are keen on exploring new opportunities with an established syndicate. The ideal candidate would have skills in Igloo, great understanding of Solvency II and Lloyd's framework, and at least 5 years of experience in the capital modelling space.
This role would cover:
- Support regulatory and economic capital modelling, including capital requirement calculations and analysis of business decision impacts.
- Develop management reporting and presented model outputs to risk committees and senior stakeholders to support decision-making.
- Contribute to the enhancement, validation, documentation, and governance of internal capital models, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and controls.
- Collaborate with risk and business teams on capital, risk, and scenario analysis, supporting regulatory reporting and optimisation of risk-return strategies.
This role will not be able to sponsor visas, and candidates must be able to come into the London office 2-3 days per week.
