About the Role
We are looking for a passionate and nurturing Early Years Practitioner to join a friendly and supportive setting in Preston. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is dedicated to helping young children thrive during the early stages of their development.
You will play a key role in providing a safe, stimulating, and engaging environment where children can learn through play and exploration.
Key Responsibilities
Support the development of children aged 0-5 years
Plan and deliver engaging activities in line with the EYFS framework
Create a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment
Observe, track, and report on children's progress
Build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
Support children's social, emotional, and physical development
Follow all safeguarding and health & safety procedures
Requirements
Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare/Early Years (or equivalent)
Experience working within an Early Years setting
Good knowledge of the EYFS framework
Strong communication and teamwork skills
A caring, patient, and proactive approach
Commitment to safeguarding and child welfare
