Location: Buntingford
Pay: £17 - £18 per hour
Overtime: £25.50 - £27 per hour
Hours: Monday – Friday, 1:00pm – 10:00pm | Overtime available | Ongoing work, temp to perm
About the Role
We’re looking for an experienced Welder/Fabricator to join a busy sheet metal company based in Buntingford. This is a great opportunity for someone with a background in welding, fabrication, or general metalworking who’s looking for steady, long-term work with the potential to go permanent. You’ll be working on a range of metal fabrication projects, producing high-quality work for commercial and industrial clients.
What You’ll Do

Carry out MIG welding and general fabrication work
*
Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
*
Measure, cut, and assemble sheet metal components
*
Operate workshop machinery and hand tools safely
*
Maintain a tidy work area and follow health and safety procedures
*
Work as part of a small, skilled team to complete custom and production jobs
What We’re Looking For
*
Previous experience as a Welder, Fabricator, or Sheet Metal Worker
*
Skilled in MIG welding
*
Confident reading and working from engineering drawings
*
Strong understanding of metalwork and fabrication techniques
*
Reliable, hardworking, and able to work independently
