How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    What the role involves

    As an IT Support Engineer, you will support and maintain our Microsoft 365 environment, ensuring reliable, secure and efficient IT services that enable colleagues across the business to work effectively.

    You will take responsibility for the support and maintenance of our SharePoint, Teams and Azure platforms, ensuring they continue to meet operational requirements while delivering a high-quality experience for our users.

    Working closely with colleagues throughout the business, you will resolve technical issues, maintain system performance and security, and support the ongoing development of solutions that improve efficiency and streamline day-to-day operations.

    Additionally, you will:

    - Develop and maintain Power Automate workflows
    - Monitor IT systems and network performance using Microsoft 365, Purview and Defender tools
    - Create and maintain user guides, technical documentation and knowledge base articles
    - Support employee onboarding and offboarding activities
    - Ensure compliance with IT policies, security protocols and data protection requirements
    - Provide onsite IT support across our UK office locations

    Who we are looking for

    To be considered as our IT Support Engineer, you will need:

    - Proven experience developing and maintaining Microsoft Power Automate workflows
    - Practical experience administering Microsoft SharePoint and Microsoft Teams in an enterprise environment
    - Strong, proven experience in IT support, systems administration and Microsoft 365 administration
    - Experience administering Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, Intune management and access management
    - Experience working within ITIL-aligned IT service management environments
    - Strong knowledge of hardware diagnostics and troubleshooting
    - Solid understanding of IT security principles, cybersecurity best practices and data protection requirements
    - Excellent customer service skills with a professional, patient and user-focused approach
    - A full, valid driving licence with the ability to travel throughout the UK
