The Role
You will play a key role in leading and supporting the day-to-day running of the warehouse, ensuring goods are received, stored, and dispatched efficiently. This is a hands-on position where you will lead by example, supporting your team while maintaining high standards of accuracy, productivity, and safety.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, support, and coordinate a team of Warehouse Operatives
Allocate daily tasks and ensure workloads are managed effectively
Oversee goods-in, ensuring deliveries are checked and logged accurately
Maintain organised and efficient stock storage and inventory control
Support picking, packing, and dispatch operations to meet deadlines
Liaise with transport providers and resolve any dispatch issues
Promote and enforce health & safety standards at all times
Identify opportunities to improve processes and efficiency
About You
Previous experience within a warehouse or logistics environment (essential)
Supervisory or team leader experience (preferred)
Strong understanding of warehouse operations and processes
Confident leading, motivating, and supporting a team
Good IT skills (WMS experience advantageous)
Forklift licence desirable, but not essential
