How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    We have an exciting opportunity for a Private Client Solicitor based in Corby for one of our clients on a full-time permanent basis.

    Summary of the Private Client Solicitor role 

    Salary: £55,000 per annum
    Location: Corby
    Type of Contract: Permanent
    Hours: full-time Monday to Friday

    Responsibilities of the Private Client Solicitor

    Manage your own varied caseload, providing expert legal advice and support across all aspects of private client work.
    Advise clients on the preparation of wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPAs), trusts, estate administration, and inheritance tax planning.
    Handle probate matters with empathy, precision, and professionalism.
    Offer tailored advice on succession and wealth management, ensuring clients’ affairs are structured effectively for future generations.
    Develop and maintain strong client relationships through excellent service and clear communication.
    Support the continued growth of the private client department by identifying new business opportunities and nurturing existing client relationships..
    Maintain compliance with current legislation and professional standards at all times.
    Requirements for a successful Private Client Solicitor

    Qualified Solicitor with several years’ post-qualification experience in private client law.
    Proven ability to manage a full caseload independently, from initial instruction to completion.
    Strong technical knowledge of wills, trusts, probate, and estate planning.
    Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients.
    Detail-oriented with strong organisational and time management abilities.
    Commercial awareness and enthusiasm for business development and practice growth.
