Our client, a leading engineering business, is looking for an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer with strong SolidWorks skills to join their team as soon as possible.
This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive Mechanical Design Engineer who enjoys taking ownership of projects and delivering high-quality design solutions within challenging timescales.
Key Requirements for the Mechanical Design Engineer:
* Proven experience using SolidWorks for mechanical design.
* Background in Aerospace, Automation, Agricultural Engineering, or a similar industry.
* Mechanical/Design/Engineering degree/qiualifications or similar.
* Strong understanding of mechanical engineering and manufacturing processes.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and consistently meet project deadlines.
* Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently and within a team.
The Role of the Mechanical Design Engineer:
* Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies.
* Produce detailed manufacturing drawings and technical documentation.
* Work closely with project and engineering teams to deliver projects on time.
* Support product development from concept through to manufacture.
