Responsible Person (RP) – GMDP Regulatory Lead
Fairview Health operates a unique integrated model where WDA(H) wholesale distribution and GPhC‑regulated pharmacy dispensing run side‑by‑side across multiple sites. We are recruiting a Responsible Person (RP) to act as Principal RP for Fairview Health and lead GMDP compliance across all WDA(H) sites and our MIA Overlabelling Unit.
This is a senior regulatory leadership role at the heart of Fairview’s operational model, ensuring aligned, coordinated, and compliant practices across all GDP/GMP activities.
What You’ll Lead
- Principal RP responsibilities across all Fairview WDA(H) and MIA operations
- Leadership of the GMDP Regulatory Team
- Regulatory services to Fairview Group companies
- MHRA GDP/GMP inspection readiness & hosting
- Supplier, customer & subcontractor approval
- QMS ownership: SOPs, deviations, CAPAs, change controls
- Product recalls, complaints, and falsified medicines investigations
- Cross‑functional compliance across integrated WDA(H) & GPhC workflows
- Temperature control, storage, logistics & distribution compliance
- Regulatory leadership during operational change and new site setups
What You Bring
- Eligibility to act as RP under MHRA criteria
- Strong GDP/GMP knowledge and regulatory experience
- Experience in pharmaceutical distribution or QA
- Leadership experience managing regulatory/quality teams
- Ability to make clear, evidence‑based decisions under pressure
- Experience in multi‑site healthcare or pharma environments
