How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Nottingham | Competitive Locum Rates | Flexible Shifts Available

    We are currently seeking an experienced Locum PET-CT Radiographer / Technologist to support a specialist imaging service in Nottingham.

    This is an excellent opportunity to work within a highly regarded diagnostic environment, utilising advanced PET-CT technology to support both NHS and private patient pathways. Whether you are looking for ad-hoc shifts, regular weekly work, or a block booking, we would love to hear from you.

    About the Role

    As part of a dedicated imaging team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality PET-CT examinations while ensuring an exceptional patient experience throughout their diagnostic journey.

    PET-CT combines detailed anatomical imaging with functional imaging, enabling clinicians to identify disease processes at an early stage and support accurate diagnosis, staging and treatment planning.

    Key Responsibilities

    * Perform PET-CT imaging procedures safely, efficiently and in accordance with departmental protocols

    * Deliver excellent patient care, ensuring patients feel informed, comfortable and supported throughout their visit

    * Operate and maintain advanced PET-CT imaging equipment to the highest professional standards

    * Adhere to radiation protection, infection prevention and patient safety procedures

    * Work collaboratively with radiologists, clinicians, physicists and multidisciplinary teams

    * Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with GDPR and confidentiality requirements

    * Support service delivery within a busy and dynamic imaging environment

    Requirements

    * BSc in Diagnostic Radiography, Nuclear Medicine or equivalent qualification

    * HCPC registration (where applicable)

    * Previous PET-CT and/or Nuclear Medicine experience

    * Strong understanding of radiation safety and patient-centred care

    * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

    * Good IT skills and attention to detail

    * Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
