How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Electrical Project Manager

    Groningen, Netherlands

    Our client is a leading international engineering contractor delivering complex, high-value projects across Europe, the UK, and Ireland. Due to continued growth within their Critical Infrastructure division, they are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to support the delivery of a hyperscale data centre project based in Groningen, Netherlands.

    This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast-paced, technically challenging environment, working on mission-critical infrastructure within one of Europe's most active data centre markets.

    Key Responsibilities

    Lead the day-to-day delivery of electrical works, ensuring all safety, quality, programme, and budget objectives are achieved.
    Coordinate subcontractors, consultants, suppliers, and client stakeholders throughout installation and commissioning phases.
    Monitor project progress, procurement activities, labour requirements, and key project risks, proactively resolving issues to avoid delays.
    Chair site meetings, provide regular progress reporting, and maintain accurate project documentation.
    Ensure compliance with relevant electrical standards, QA/QC procedures, and health & safety regulations.
    Support testing and commissioning activities through to final handover.

    Candidate Requirements

    Trade or degree qualified in an Electrical discipline.
    Proven experience within the electrical contracting sector, including a minimum of 8 years in a construction or project management role.
    Previous experience delivering data centre projects is highly desirable.
    Strong stakeholder management and coordination skills within fast-track construction environments.
