Higher Level Teaching Assistant

Smile Education is recruiting a dedicated and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) for a friendly and supportive primary school in the Kingswinford area of Dudley.

As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, you will:

Deliver pre-planned lessons across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 when required.
Lead whole-class learning in the absence of the class teacher.
Support pupils through targeted intervention groups and one-to-one support.
Work collaboratively with teaching staff to raise attainment and pupil engagement.
Contribute to a positive, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment.
Support the academic, social, and emotional development of pupils.To be considered for this HLTA position, you must:
✔ Hold a recognised HLTA qualification
✔ Have recent experience working within a UK primary school
✔ Be confident leading whole-class lessons independently
✔ Have strong behaviour management skills
✔ Demonstrate excellent communication and organisational abilities
✔ Hold an enhanced DBS certificate on the Update Service or be willing to obtain one
