How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Operations Administrator

    Location: Walsall
    Salary: £13.50 per hour
    Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm
    Contract: Temporary to Permanent
    Benefits: Profit Share Scheme

    We are currently recruiting for an Operations Administrator to join a well-established global manufacturing company. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and proactive individual looking to develop a long-term career within a fast-paced operational environment.

    Working as part of the Operations team, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day running of the business, ensuring goods are dispatched efficiently, transport is arranged on time, and administrative processes run smoothly across the warehouse and production functions.

    Key Responsibilities

    Booking and coordinating transport for customer deliveries and collections.
    Preparing and processing dispatch documentation.
    Supporting goods-out and warehouse operations.
    Maintaining accurate operational records and paperwork.
    Liaising with transport providers, customers, and internal departments.
    Monitoring delivery schedules and resolving any logistical issues.
    Processing orders and updating internal systems.
    Providing administrative support across warehouse, dispatch, and production teams.
    Ensuring documentation is completed accurately and on time.
    Supporting the wider operations function to keep the business running efficiently.

    What We're Looking For

    Previous administration experience within manufacturing, logistics, warehouse, transport, or operations environments.
    Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
    Excellent communication and customer service skills.
    Confident using Microsoft Office and internal computer systems.
    Ability to prioritise workload and work effectively under pressure.
    A positive, flexible approach and willingness to support different areas of the business.
