How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Editorial & Corporate Designer (Contract) - £375/day (Inside IR35) - Hybrid - London

Are you an experienced designer with a strong editorial background and a passion for creating clear, impactful corporate communications?

We’re looking for an Editorial & Corporate Designer to join a London-based team on a 6-month contract. This role offers £375/day via umbrella and requires two days per week in a central London office.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for delivering high-quality design across a range of corporate and B2B communications. This will include editorial layouts, reports, presentations and digital content, ensuring complex information is communicated in a clear, engaging and accessible way.

You’ll collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, content teams and wider creative functions to produce work that is both visually strong and aligned to brand and business objectives.

Strong attention to detail and typographic expertise are key, alongside an understanding of designing for professional, corporate audiences.

We’re looking for candidates with experience in:

    • Editorial and layout design across print and digital channels
    • Corporate or B2B environments, ideally within highly regulated or professional sectors
    • Producing reports, publications, presentations and long-form content
    • Applying accessibility best practice within design
    • Strong typography and layout skills

Experience in motion design is a bonus, but not essential.

This role would particularly suit designers who have worked within large corporate organisations, financial or professional services environments, or established agencies delivering B2B work for similar clients.

If you’re looking to join a collaborative team and deliver impactful, high-quality design, we’d love to hear from you. Please contact gary.wale@lorienglobal.com if interested.
