An independent advisory firm is looking to hire an Associate to join its London office.
The role offers exposure to a broad range of M&A transactions across technology-enabled sectors, working closely with senior bankers, founders, private equity investors, and corporate clients on both sell-side and buy-side mandates.
Responsibilities
- Support the execution of M&A transactions from origination through completion
- Build and maintain detailed financial models and valuation analyses
- Prepare marketing materials, information memoranda, management presentations, and investor documentation
- Conduct industry, company, and competitive landscape research
- Coordinate due diligence processes and manage interactions with clients and counterparties
- Assist in developing relationships with entrepreneurs, management teams, investors, and strategic acquirers
- Contribute to business development initiatives and client pitches
Candidate Profile
- 3–6 years of experience in investment banking, corporate finance, transaction advisory, or a related field
- Strong financial modelling and valuation skills
- Experience supporting M&A transactions and managing multiple workstreams
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities
- Strong academic background
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to operate in a dynamic, client-facing environment
