How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    • This is a fixed-term role (approximately 12 months) focused on user acceptance testing (UAT), process validation, and supporting system development to ensure BC meets all operational and reporting requirements of the business.

    • Identify system gaps and risks
    • Support iterative development with IT

This role reduces implementation risk, ensures operational continuity, and improves adoption of BC.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Document system gaps, inefficiencies, and risks
    • Prioritise issues based on operational impact

    System Development Support

    • Work closely with the IT Systems Administrator/Developer to resolve identified issues
    • Assist in refining system functionality and workflows
    • Participate in iterative testing cycles to confirm fixes
    • Liaise with third-party suppliers, particularly the supplier, to support system development, issue resolution, and integration activities

    Output & Reporting Validation

    • Test reports and outputs generated from BC
    • Ensure outputs match business requirements currently met by the in-house system
    • Highlight inconsistencies and support resolution

    Cross-Functional Collaboration

    • Engage with stakeholders across all departments
    • Build understanding of business processes and requirements
    • Act as a bridge between operational teams and IT
    • Support communication and coordination with external partners where required

    Training & Documentation

    • Assist with end user training to support adoption of BC across the business
    • Create and maintain user documentation, process guides, and training materials
    • Develop process maps to reflect current and future-state workflows within BC

    Reporting Line

    Reports to: IT Manager

Works closely with: IT Systems Administrator/Developer and department stakeholders

    Duration

    Fixed-term contract: Approximately 12 months

    Key Skills & Experience

    Essential

    • Experience of using MS Dynamics Business Central
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    • High attention to detail
    • Ability to understand and map business processes
    • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
    • Comfortable working across multiple departments

    Desirable

    • Experience with ERP systems (especially testing or implementation)
    • Exposure to user acceptance testing (UAT) processes
    • Experience working with data, reporting, or system outputs
    • Strong understanding of IT systems or system development processes
    • Experience in a manufacturing environment

    Personal Attributes

    • Methodical and organised approach
    • Curious and investigative mindset
    • Proactive in identifying and resolving issues
    • Adaptable and comfortable working in a changing environment

    Success Measures

    • Accurate identification and documentation of system gaps
    • Timely resolution of issues in collaboration with IT
    • Successful validation of BC processes and outputs
    • Smooth transition from the in-house system to BC with minimal disruption

    Summary for Candidates (External Use)

This role offers a unique opportunity to be directly involved in a major ERP transformation project. You will gain hands-on experience with system testing, business process mapping, and cross-functional collaboration, making it ideal for candidates interested in IT systems, operations, or business analysis.
