Commercial Global Process Owner
South Manchester Hybrid (3 days per week)
£90,000 - £110,000 + package
I'm supporting a PE-backed business undergoing significant transformation following rapid acquisition growth.
- This is not a traditional process improvement role.
- This is not a programme management role.
- This is not a consulting role.
- This is a genuine ownership role.
The business is redesigning how commercial processes operate across multiple business units and needs somebody who wants to own complex, messy, cross-functional processes from end-to-end.
The role:
You'll own commercial processes horizontally across acquisition, onboarding, CRM workflows, lead management, sales processes and customer journeys.
You'll work across Sales, Operations, Technology, Customer teams and senior stakeholders to redesign how work actually happens.
You'll be expected to challenge existing operating models, remove friction, improve scalability and introduce more intelligent, AI-enabled ways of working.
Areas of responsibility include:
• End-to-end ownership of commercial processes and workflows
• Redesigning customer acquisition, onboarding and commercial operating models
• Driving improvements across CRM ecosystems and commercial workflows
• Working across multiple functions without direct authority
• Building scalable, measurable processes that improve customer and commercial outcomes
• Identifying automation and AI opportunities to improve efficiency and experience
• Creating governance, KPIs and process ownership models
I'm interested in people who have experience across areas such as:
• Commercial Operations
• Sales Operations
• Commercial Excellence
• Commercial Transformation
• CRM / Salesforce ownership
• Commercial process ownership
• Customer onboarding and workflow redesign
You'll likely enjoy this role if:
• You've genuinely owned processes rather than simply supported them
• You enjoy ambiguity and solving messy operational problems
• You prefer delivery and ownership over PowerPoint and theory
• You have experience operating across multiple stakeholders and functions
You'll probably not enjoy this role if:
• Your background is purely project or programme management
• You have only operated as a consultant
• Your experience is primarily product ownership
• You prefer clearly defined functional boundaries
If this sounds like your type of challenge, I'd be interested in speaking.
