How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

OTE £76,000 (£60k basic + £16k bonus, paid quarterly on hitting targets)

    Job Title:

    Head of Partnerships

    Job Purpose:

This role is perfect for you if you love to establish win-win partnerships to help drive mutual success. The main objective is to grow our revenue by co-selling with our growing network of global partners. Such partners may be procurement consulting firms, both large and small, complementary technology firms and the procurement community as a whole.

Working closely with the COO of Market Dojo, this role can grow exponentially once we find the best person to design, implement and deliver our partnerships strategy to build long-term successful relationships. It suits a commercially minded individual with a solution selling background and a collaborative ethos. If you have a procurement consulting background then even better!

You'll get to work with some of the best-known brands such as premier league football clubs, global hotel chains, household goods and luxury sportscars, helping their Procurement teams make a big difference in an increasingly turbulent time. Market Dojo's solutions are more relevant and in demand than ever, especially as we're part of a global tech firm, Esker, with resources to expand in all directions.

The success of the role will be measured by: the number of qualified opportunities referred by partners; the contribution of those to our new business revenue; the amount of revenue achieved by our resellers and lastly; by revenue resulting directly from partners utilising our solutions.

    Main duties include:

    ●     Understand and define our target market of prospective partners.

    ●     Research prospective partners that unlock future growth.

    ●     Qualify and onboard new partners by providing bespoke training, marketing materials, sales guidance, achievable goals, lead sharing and scheduled reviews.

    ●     Frequently check-in with our partners to keep the relationships fruitful & forthcoming.

    ●     Become an expert in the use of our products to advise partners on best practice.

    ●     Manage the partner sales pipeline in our CRM to maintain visibility and accuracy of potential opportunities.

    ●     Educate partners about new product features, industry trends, market intelligence and relevant marketing materials such as white papers.

    ●     Collaborate with partners on potential sales and marketing activities for the mutual benefit of both parties.

    ●     Involve our Business Development team to cross-sell our partners’ services and to progress opportunities referred by partners.

    ●     Contribute to our product roadmap in line with customer requirements arising from the partner network.

    ●     Help to develop a proactive, scalable partner management strategy to set the blueprint for further expansion.

    About You:

    ●     At least 3 years' experience in strategic partner management, ideally within the field of software-as-a-service technology.

    ●     Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships across all levels of seniority.

    ●     Resilient and determined with a proven track record of exceeding revenue targets.

    ●     Energetic, self-motivated and well-organised.

    ●     Of an entrepreneurial ‘can do’ attitude with the ability to self-motivate and think strategically.

    ●     Excellent written and oral communication skills.

    ●     Own a car with a clean and valid driving licence.

    ●     Eligible to work in the UK.

    About us:

Market Dojo is a dynamic and rapidly growing entrepreneurial company. We develop and sell innovative web applications to procurement professionals all over the world including those from Imperial Brands, Halfords and Decathlon.

Our products have routinely helped Enterprises save an average of 16% on their procurement activities within a matter of weeks, creating a brand and product that our clients love. See the 5* reviews for yourself on Capterra (like TripAdvisor for software companies)! You can also check out our 5* reviews on Glassdoor to see how we look after the team.

We believe in four key ideologies: being transparent, agile, having fun and putting the customer first.

    Progression path:

We are a small company with global ambitions which will allow you the flexibility to specialise in different areas. We were acquired by Esker to give us a global footprint and additional investment to expand our offerings around the world.

    These could include:

❏ Becoming a Head of Global Partnerships

    ❏ Managing an international team

    Location:

Based remotely but convening once a month with the team in our modern office in the countryside, just north of Bristol.

    Salary:

Up to £76k OTE, depending on capabilities & experience.

    Other benefits:

Lots to mention: Private medical insurance, team away-days, quarterly spend vouchers of your choosing, mobile phone allowance, direct access to the leadership, personal professional training budget of your choice, extra day holiday on your birthday, flexible management & working approaches, international events...the list goes on.

Please do apply today and the next step would be a brief online interview followed by a more thorough in-person, or online if not possible, interview with various members of the team.
