How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Overview of Role:

    A Programme Performance associate to drive the development and delivery of programme performance strategies across major infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will lead and develop regional programme performance teams, foster strong client relationships, and champion best practice across all teams. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical expertise with proven leadership capability, commercial awareness, and a passion for developing high-performing teams and delivering exceptional client outcomes.



    Responsibilities:

    • Lead the regional development of programme performance strategies and processes aligned to client and project requirements that provide quality insights and information on performance, forecast, threats and opportunities
    • Build and maintain long lasting Client relationships, providing “best in class” service, while upholding our Core Values of People > Integrity > Innovation > Community.
    • Be an industry leader in one or more of our core capabilities; Programme Performance, Planning, Risk and Data Analytics and Reporting.
    • Lead, grow and nurture the regional programme performance teams, leading line management, team/career development and recruitment in the region.
    • Integrate and challenge planning, commercial, engineering, construction and risk teams to develop and implement appropriate processes, data and performance measurement techniques e.g. Earned value, rules of credit.
    • Assure Project baselines (scope, schedule, estimates and risk) at various stages of the project lifecycle, ensuring baseline integrity is maintained effectively.
    • Work with data analysts to develop appropriate forward looking performance metrics and dashboards using tools such as MS Power BI.
    • Identify trends, efficiencies and opportunities for efficiencies utilising both internal D2 benchmarking data tools, but technologies such as Nodes and Links and nPlan.
    • Communicate the programme performance to stakeholders at all levels, adapting messaging to suit the stakeholder and their needs
    • Work within and/ or lead multi-disciplinary project controls teams, driving a high performing team that is focussed on proactive actions
    • Provide innovation, collaboration, and technical excellence, including products and services development, to ensure time efficient, exemplary quality outputs in terms of schedules, reporting, etc.



    Requirements:

    • Member of a relevant professional body with chartered status (or working towards this) and/or educated to degree level.
    • Experience of programme/project controls on large multidisciplinary projects.
    • Strong or developing understanding of at least one, but preferred many, of programme performance elements, including but not limited to, scope and change, cost engineering, planning, risk, benefits, data and performance management
    • Strong understanding and knowledge of baseline development and management in addition to Earned Value Management processes.
    • Experience of applying performance measurement techniques to the programme e.g. KPIs, milestones.
    • Working knowledge of Primavera P6, Acumen and MS Power BI.
    • Experience of working on UK infrastructure projects and of baseline management.
    • Experience of NEC contracts and change control environments.
