PARAPLANNER – HNW FINANCIAL PLANNING
£50,000 – £55,000 | PERFORMANCE RELATED BONUS | BRISTOL | HYBRID WORKING

Our client is a fast-growing, independently owned wealth management firm based in Bristol, founded by some of the most experienced and well-regarded professionals in the industry. The business has ambitious growth plans and is already building a strong reputation for delivering outstanding holistic financial planning to HNW and UHNW clients with c£750,000 and above in investable assets. With a highly experienced advisory team in place and significant expansion planned over the coming months, this is a business on a genuinely exciting trajectory.
They are looking for an experienced Paraplanner to join the team and play a central role in supporting the delivery of high-quality, complex financial planning advice. This is a role with real scope…as the business grows, there is a clear opportunity for the right person to develop into a senior paraplanning position and ultimately lead the paraplanning function.
The role:
- Prepare high-quality suitability reports and letters across all areas of financial planning including pensions, investments, IHT, estate planning, and protection
- Conduct detailed research and analysis to support the advisory team in delivering tailored recommendations to HNW and UHNW clients
- Provide technical support to Financial Planners throughout the advice process
- Carry out cashflow modelling and investment analysis
- Liaise with providers, platforms, and third parties to ensure efficient processing of new business
- Maintain accurate client records and ensure all documentation meets FCA compliance standards
- Support continuous improvement of paraplanning processes and systems as the business grows
What we are looking for:
- An experienced Paraplanner with a solid track record of producing high-quality suitability reports in a financial planning environment
- Diploma in Financial Planning (DipPFS or equivalent) as a minimum — Chartered status or working towards it would be a real advantage
- Strong technical knowledge across pensions, investments, IHT, trusts, and tax-efficient planning
- Experience working with HNW clients and complex cases
- Highly organised with excellent written communication skills and strong attention to detail
- Someone who is motivated by being part of a growing business and wants to develop their career alongside it
What is on offer:
- Basic salary of £50,000 to £55,000 depending on experience
