APT Education is recruiting a caring, patient and enthusiastic EYFS Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming Primary school in Northampton (NN1) from September. This is a full‑time role supporting children in Nursery/Reception, including some pupils who may present with challenging behaviour at times. You’ll be helping children settle, learn and thrive in a nurturing Early Years environment.

⭐ About the Role
As an EYFS Teaching Assistant in Northampton NN1, you will:
* Support children across Nursery and/or Reception
* Assist with phonics, early literacy and early maths
* Support pupils who may display challenging behaviour, using calm, consistent strategies
* Help create a nurturing, structured and positive learning environment
* Support play‑based learning and outdoor activities
* Work closely with the class teacher and EYFS team
* Build positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents
