Agile Delivery Leads – Public Sector Transformation | Contract Roles | Inside IR35 | Valid active SC Clearance REQUIRED
Location: London (Initial on-site, then mostly remote)
We are supporting a major UK public sector organisation on a high-profile transformation programme focused on modernising critical trade and commodities platforms.
We are seeking Agile Delivery Leads to oversee delivery execution, managing cross-functional teams and ensuring successful programme outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Lead delivery across Agile teams and technology squads
- Drive planning, execution, and continuous improvement across delivery cycles
- Manage dependencies, risks, and stakeholder expectations
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies and promote best practice delivery standards
- Act as the bridge between technical teams and senior stakeholders
- Ensure consistent, high-quality delivery aligned to programme goals
Requirements:
- Strong Agile Delivery / Project Management experience (beyond Scrum Master level)
- Experience working within UK government departments (e.g. MoJ, MoD or similar)
- Background in trade or commodities environments preferred
- Proven experience leading multiple Agile teams in complex environments
- Active SC clearance (essential – non-active will not be considered)
Additional Info:
- Multiple hires (approx. 4–5)
- Programme duration of 3–4 years
- Day rates from £600+ (depending on experience)
- 1–2 weeks initial onsite in London, then largely remote
