How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

FP&A Lead – Costing & Profitability Analytics, you will step into a newly created, high-visibility role designed to bridge the gap between financial modelling and strategic business partnering.

In this role, you will own the company model and pricing framework, pioneer complex costing allocations, define the gross and net margin narrative, and turn complex multi-source data into clear commercial actions that move the needle for the business. You will use advanced SQL skills to query data, drive the Finance analytics roadmap, and prototype directly in code as well as business partner to champion user engagement across Ops, Commercial, Pricing and Executive Board.

Strategic FP&A & Commercial Business Partnering

    • Act as the primary financial partner to the Executive Board, Commercial, and Pricing teams, translating complex profitability data into clear, forward-looking commercial strategies.
    • Eliminate ambiguity at the senior level by establishing a single, trusted gross and net margin narrative, removing the need for ad-hoc reconciliations during strategic forums.
    • Proactively surface margin risks and opportunities, using data to influence pricing actions and operational decisions.

Advanced Costing Allocations & Model Ownership

    • Take full ownership of the business model, ensuring cost-to-serve methodologies and Activity-Based Costing (ABC) principles are robust, transparent, and accurately reflected.
    • Integrate granular costing data with macro forecasting and corporate FP&A planning cycles.
    • Ensure data pipelines and allocation methodologies are aligned across Finance and Technology, sustaining absolute data integrity as complexity scales.

Automate, and Innovate (SQL & AI Roadmap)

    • Drive the Finance analytics roadmap by prototyping directly in code (SQL / Python).
    • Evolve the model's capability year-on-year, with a focus on driving automation, reducing manual intervention, and exploring AI/predictive analytics to shift the business from retrospective reporting to predictive forecasting.

    Qualifications

    • Degree or equivalent experience in Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related quantitative field.
    • Professional Finance Qualification (e.g., CIMA, ACA, ACCA) or equivalent corporate FP&A experience is highly desirable.
