Management Accountant – Reading – Hybrid - £45,000 to £50,000 per year plus bonus & benefits
FryerMiles are delighted to be working with a leading online platform to assist with their recruitment of a proactive and detail oriented Management Accountant to join their growing finance team.
This role will support the production of monthly management accounts, financial reporting, cash collection, budgeting and forecasting, while helping to strengthen financial controls and improve reporting processes.
Working closely with teams across the business, you will provide financial insight, support month end activities, manage balance sheet reconciliations, and help drive process improvements through automation and reporting tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare journals, accruals, prepayments and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Support the monthly management accounts and reporting cycle.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting and cash flow reporting.
- Manage accounts receivable activities and support cash collection.
- Maintain strong financial controls and support year-end audit requirements.
- Analyse financial performance and provide insight to stakeholders.
- Identify and implement process improvements, automation and reporting enhancements.
Requirements
- Part-qualified ACCA/CIMA (or qualified by experience).
- Previous experience in a Management Accountant, Assistant Management Accountant, Finance Analyst or similar role.
- Strong understanding of month-end processes and financial reporting.
- Advanced Excel skills with strong analytical ability.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
Desirable
- Experience within a SaaS, technology or high growth business.
- Knowledge of Sage Intacct.
- Experience with Power BI, automation tools or process improvement projects.
