Hunter Dunning is working with a specialist fire engineering consultancy within the built environment sector. This Fire Surveyor role focuses on fire risk assessments and external wall inspections across residential properties, supporting compliance, façade remediation, and building safety improvements.
Your Experience
- Minimum three years experience in fire surveying, fire risk assessment, or a related building safety role
- Understanding of UK fire safety legislation and guidance relevant to residential buildings
- Experience conducting fire risk assessments and producing structured technical reports
- Ability to manage site visits independently and organise workload across multiple projects
- Strong communication skills when engaging with clients and explaining technical findings clearly
- Experience or interest in external wall systems and façade inspections would be beneficial
- Relevant qualifications in fire safety, building surveying, or similar technical discipline preferred
- Residential sector experience
