How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job Title: Construction Recruitment Consultant

    About the Role

    We are seeking a motivated and experienced Construction Recruiter to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing, attracting, and placing skilled construction professionals across a variety of projects. You will work closely with hiring managers, clients, and candidates to ensure staffing needs are met efficiently and effectively.

    Key Responsibilities

    * Source, screen, and interview candidates for construction-related positions.

    * Manage the full recruitment cycle from job posting to onboarding.

    * Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified construction professionals, including laborers, tradespeople, supervisors, engineers, and project managers.

    * Develop and maintain relationships with clients, hiring managers, and candidates.

    * Maintain accurate candidate records in the recruitment database.

    * Stay informed about construction industry trends, labor market conditions, and recruitment best practices.

    Requirements

    * Previous recruitment experience, preferably within the construction, engineering, or trades sector.

    * Strong understanding of construction roles and industry requirements.

    * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

    * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple vacancies simultaneously.

    * Strong sourcing and networking abilities.

    Preferred Qualifications

    * Experience recruiting for skilled trades, civil engineering, commercial construction, or infrastructure projects.

    * Knowledge of construction certifications and compliance requirements.

    * Existing network within the construction industry.
