How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    An exciting opportunity has become available for a motivated and enthusiastic Year 3 Teacher to join a highly regarded primary school in Basingstoke from September 2026. This position is ideal for a Year 3 Teacher seeking a new challenge within a welcoming school that places a strong emphasis on pupil achievement, wellbeing, and staff development.

The successful Year 3 Teacher will take responsibility for a class of approximately 20 pupils, allowing for meaningful pupil engagement and high-quality teaching throughout the academic year.

    The Role

    As a Year 3 Teacher, you will deliver engaging lessons that inspire curiosity, creativity, and a love of learning. The school is looking for a Year 3 Teacher who can create a stimulating classroom environment while maintaining high expectations for both attainment and behaviour.

    Working closely with colleagues, teaching assistants, and parents, you will play an important role in supporting pupils as they continue their Key Stage 2 journey.

    Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the Key Stage 2 curriculum
    Monitor and assess pupil progress, adapting teaching where required
    Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment

    About You

    The ideal Year 3 Teacher will possess:

    Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a PGCE
    Experience teaching within Key Stage 2 (ECTs are encouraged to apply)
    Strong classroom management and organisational skills
    Excellent communication abilities
    A passion for helping children reach their full potential
