How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Residential Conveyancing Fee Earner / Senior Paralegal
    Location: Bury
    Salary: £28,000 - £55,000 DOE
    Full Time | Office Based
    An established and well regarded law firm based in Bury is looking to recruit an experienced Residential Conveyancing Fee Earner / Senior Paralegal to join their growing property team.
    This role would suit someone with a minimum of 2 years’ experience within residential conveyancing who is confident managing files with supervision and supporting on a busy caseload from instruction through to completion.
    The Role
    You will be supporting the conveyancing team on a broad range of residential property matters including:
    * Sales and purchases
    * Freehold and leasehold transactions
    * Remortgages
    * Transfers of equity
    * New build matters
    * Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders and solicitors
    * Preparing legal documents and progressing files efficiently
    This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive and close knit team where you will have genuine progression opportunities and exposure to high quality work.
    About You
    To be considered, you will ideally have:
    * At least 2 years’ experience within residential conveyancing
    * Experience assisting on or managing your own files
    * Strong organisational and communication skills
    * A proactive and client focused approach
    * Ability to work well within a fast paced team environment
    Qualified candidates, experienced paralegals, conveyancing assistants and fee earners will all be considered.
