How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Civil Litigation Solicitor / Litigation Executive / Paralegal
    Bury
    £35,000 - £60,000 DOE
    Full-time | Office Based
    We are currently recruiting for a Civil Litigation professional to join a growing law firm based in Bury.
    This is a fantastic opportunity to work directly alongside the Head of Litigation as part of the firm’s plans to expand and develop its litigation department. The successful candidate will become the second member of the team, offering genuine long-term progression and the opportunity to play a key role in the growth of the department.
    The Civil Litigation Solicitor Role
    The position will involve handling a varied caseload of civil litigation matters including:
    * Boundary disputes
    * Landlord and tenant disputes
    * Breach of contract claims
    * Contested probate matters
    The firm is looking for someone who enjoys a broad civil litigation caseload and is keen to develop within a supportive and growing environment.
    Civil Litigation Solicitor Requirements
    The firm is open to speaking with:
    * Qualified Solicitors
    * ILEX / CILEX professionals
    * Experienced Litigation Paralegals
    Candidates should ideally have a minimum of 2-3 years’ experience within civil litigation.
    This opportunity could also suit an ambitious paralegal looking to secure a future training contract and progress towards qualification.
