A pioneering technology business operating at the forefront of their field is seeking a Finance Manager to take ownership of financial reporting, entity control, and statutory compliance across a portfolio of international entities. The Role
The Finance Manager will play a key role in strengthening the finance operating model, ensuring robust entity‑level control, and delivering high‑quality reporting. You will partner closely with operational teams, lead audits, manage cashflow, and support the development of junior team members.
Key Responsibilities
Entity Close & Reporting
Lead month‑end close for assigned entities, including journals, accruals, reconciliations, and analytical review.
Produce monthly reporting packs with clear commentary and present results to senior stakeholders.
Maintain strong balance sheet integrity and ensure consistent application of accounting policies.
Statutory Compliance & Audit
Manage statutory audits, filings, and local compliance requirements.
Prepare or oversee statutory accounts and ensure high‑quality disclosures.
Liaise with tax, payroll, and external advisors as required.
Cashflow Management
Prepare and maintain entity‑level cashflow forecasts.
Partner with Treasury on funding, intercompany activity, and payment prioritisation.
Provide variance analysis and insight into working capital movements.
Stakeholder Engagement
Build strong relationships with operational leaders across the business.
Translate operational activity into clear financial narratives and KPIs.
Drive improvements in financial discipline, coding accuracy, and documentation.
Continuous Improvement
Support finance transformation initiatives, including process standardisation and automation.
About you:
Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA) with experience previously gained within an Audit environment.
Strong background in entity / group accounting, month‑end close, and statutory audit.
Confident working with operational stakeholders and presenting financial results.
Advanced Excel skills; ERP experience preferred.
Proactive, organised, and comfortable working in an evolving environment where processes and controls are needed as they shape their finance function.
