A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a dedicated SEMH Teaching Assistant to join a friendly and nurturing independent SEN primary school in Milton Keynes. This small specialist setting is committed to providing high-quality support for children with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, helping them develop confidence, resilience, and a love of learning.

Key Responsibilities
Provide tailored support to primary-aged pupils with SEMH needs.
Work on a one-to-one basis and in small groups to encourage engagement and progress.
Help pupils develop emotional regulation, social skills, and positive behaviours.
Support teachers in delivering engaging and differentiated learning activities.
Build strong, positive relationships that promote trust and confidence.
Assist in creating a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment.
The Ideal Candidate
Previous experience supporting children with SEMH, SEN, or additional needs is desirable.
A patient, compassionate, and resilient approach.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
The ability to remain calm and positive in challenging situations.
A genuine passion for helping children overcome barriers to learning.
