How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Finance Director - Growing Construction Technology Client

    Refreshing approach & energy from the founders

    Location: Flexible / Hybrid UK - Office Central London must be able to commute in twice a week
    Basic Salary: £100,000 – £150,000 + performance bonus of 15-20%
    Reporting to: Founders / Owners
    Fast-growing technology business delivering enterprise software solutions to construction and infrastructure clients across 22 countries.

    Current annual revenues of approximately £11 million, entering an exciting phase of accelerated expansion and further international growth.

    Customers range from major contractors, specialist sub-contractors , Joint Ventures and end users.

    We are seeking a commercially focused, hands-on Finance Director who can build the financial infrastructure required to support rapid growth.

    The Opportunity
    This is not a traditional corporate Finance Director role.
    We are looking for a leader who is equally comfortable developing strategic plans with the owners as they are rolling up their sleeves and improving day-to-day financial operations.

    You will be the first full time finance professional as the business brings the function in-house. Acting as a trusted advisor to the founders as a solid sandboarding whilst creating processes that utilize technology to protect time and money.

    The successful candidate will have experience within SaaS and enterprise software businesses, ideally in scaling organizations that have expanded internationally and ideally entered the US market.

    Key Responsibilities

    * Partner directly with the owners to drive business strategy and decision-making for fiancé

    * Develop and deliver the financial roadmap to support rapid international expansion

    * Lead annual budgeting, long-range planning and forecasting processes

    * Provide commercial insight on pricing, customer profitability, recurring revenue and growth opportunities

    * Support fundraising, banking relationships and investor discussions as required

    * Prepare the business for future strategic transactions, acquisitions or investment opportunities

    Leadership

    * Own all financial reporting, management accounts and board reporting

    * Develop robust KPIs and dashboards across the business

    * Improve financial controls, governance and compliance frameworks

    * Manage cash flow, working capital and treasury activities

    * Oversee international tax, VAT and regulatory compliance across multiple jurisdictions

    * Lead audit processes and external advisor relationships

    * Build and develop the finance function as the company scales

    * Implement systems, processes and automation to improve efficiency

    * Work closely with department heads across sales, operations, marketing , product, engineering and people

    SaaS & Enterprise Metrics

    Track and analyse ARR, MRR, churn, customer acquisition costs, customer lifetime value and gross retention

    Provide detailed analysis of enterprise contract profitability and revenue recognition

    Candidate Profile

    * Currently based in UK and able to attend face to face interviews

    * Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)

    * Proven Finance Director, Head of Finance or Financial Controller experience within a SaaS and/or enterprise software business

    * Experience supporting a business through rapid growth and scale-up phases

    * Strong understanding of recurring revenue business models and SaaS metrics

    * Demonstrable ability to combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution
