How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Family Solicitor (Private Family Law)

    Location: Great Yarmouth, Norfolk
    Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

    Family Solicitor - Private Family Law

    A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Family Solicitor to join a well-established and respected law firm in Great Yarmouth.

    We are seeking a talented and compassionate solicitor with a minimum of 5 years' PQE to join our growing Family Law team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in private family matters and be committed to delivering exceptional client care during what can often be challenging and sensitive circumstances.

    This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive and collaborative firm with an established client base and a strong reputation within the local community.

    Key Responsibilities

    Managing a varied caseload of private family law matters including:

    Divorce and separation
    Financial remedy proceedings
    Private children matters
    Cohabitation and separation agreements
    Pre-nuptial and post-nuptial agreements
    Domestic abuse and injunction applications
    Providing clear, practical and empathetic legal advice to clients
    Conducting negotiations and representing clients throughout proceedings
    Building and maintaining strong client relationships
    Supporting business development and networking initiatives
    Ensuring compliance with all regulatory and professional obligations

    About You

    The successful candidate will:

    Be a qualified Solicitor with a minimum of 5 years' PQE in Family Law
    Have substantial experience handling private family law matters independently
    Possess excellent technical knowledge and strong case management skills
    Demonstrate outstanding communication and client care abilities
    Be confident managing sensitive matters with professionalism and empathy
    Have a proactive approach to business development and client relationship management
    Be a strong team player with a commitment to delivering high-quality legal services
