How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant (ADHD Support) - Lutterworth

    Location: Lutterworth, Leicestershire
    Pay Rate: £100 - £105 per day
    Contract: Full-Time, Term Time Only
    Start Date: September 2026

    Aspire People is currently recruiting for a committed and proactive SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive mainstream primary school in Lutterworth from September.

    This full-time role will involve providing dedicated 1:1 support for a pupil with ADHD, helping them to remain engaged in learning, develop positive routines, and achieve their full potential within the classroom environment.

    The successful candidate will need to be patient, adaptable, and confident in supporting a child who may require additional encouragement with focus, organisation, and emotional regulation throughout the school day.

    The Role

    Providing consistent 1:1 support for a pupil with ADHD
    Supporting the child to access the curriculum and remain on task
    Implementing strategies to promote concentration and positive behaviour
    Working closely with the class teacher, SENCO, and parents where required
    Encouraging independence, confidence, and social development
    Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning experience

    The Ideal Candidate Will Have

    Experience supporting children with ADHD or other additional needs (desirable)
    Previous experience working within a school or educational setting
    Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
    A calm, patient, and resilient nature
    The ability to adapt support strategies to meet individual needs
    A genuine passion for helping children overcome barriers to learning
