How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

·Prepare and maintain project documentation, including technical submissions, risk assessments, method statements and progress reports.
·Support commissioning, testing and handover activities.
·Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
·Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and best practice across project delivery teams.

    What We're Looking For
·Proven experience delivering MEICA or engineering projects within the water, wastewater or wider utilities sector.
·Strong understanding of project delivery, including programme management, procurement, commercial awareness and contract administration.
    ·Excellent communication and organisational skills.
·Ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and manage competing priorities.
·Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
·Relevant engineering qualification in Mechanical, Electrical or Civil Engineering.
·Full UK Driving Licence and willingness to travel as required.
    Desirable
·Knowledge and experience of NEC contracts.
·Understanding of relevant construction and health & safety legislation.
    ·EUSR Water Hygiene.

·Ongoing professional development and career progression opportunities.
    ·Collaborative and supportive working environment.
    ·Competitive salary and benefits package.
If you're looking to develop your career within a growing engineering business and want to play a key role in delivering essential infrastructure projects, we'd love to hear from you
