How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Description
Berkeley Group builds homes and neighbourhoods across London, Birmingham and the South of England. We revive underused land, creating welcoming, sustainable and nature-rich places where communities thrive and where people of all ages and backgrounds enjoy a great quality of life.

We specialise in long-term brownfield regeneration, focusing on challenging and complex sites that are beyond the scope of conventional homebuilders. We are highly collaborative, working with councils and communities to create a shared vision and to unlock a mix of social, environmental, economic and commercial value that benefits all our stakeholders.

Our passion for quality and design underpins everything we do. All Berkeley homes are created with care, expertise and relentless attention to detail.

We are seeking a motivated early-career sales professional to join our team and contribute to the delivery of high-quality customer engagement across a range of clients and sectors. This role provides structured, hands-on experience in lead generation, outreach, and supporting the sales process with accurate, well-presented communication.

Working alongside senior colleagues, you will have the opportunity to develop your understanding of customer needs, refine sales techniques, and support the development of approaches that drive successful outcomes. The position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a genuine interest in how effective sales relationships are formed and maintained.

Support senior sales representatives with lead generation and client follow-ups

Support the achievement of sales targets in line with project forecasts and business objectives

Deliver high standards of customer service, contributing to strong customer satisfaction and Net Promoter Score (NPS) performance

Assist with the coordination and hosting of site viewings and property tours for prospective buyers

Liaise with internal teams (marketing, development, and customer care) to support the sales process

Assist with the progression of sales from reservation through to completion

Support the delivery of launch events and agent engagement activities

Learn and apply sales techniques, tools, and best practices

Maintain accurate records in the CRM system

Assist in preparing sales presentations and proposals

Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and performance reviews

Keep up to date with product knowledge and industry trends

Adhere to Berkeley Group Health & Safety policies and company values at all times

    What you'll bring

A genuine interest in building a career in sales

    Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Curiosity, willingness to learn, and a proactive approach

Resilience and a positive attitude in the face of challenges

Basic computer skills and a readiness to learn new tools

Ability to work independently and collaboratively

No prior sales experience required—only motivation and enthusiasm

    Why join us?

25 days annual leave, increasing with service to 33 days.

Health and wellbeing benefits including Private Medical Insurance.
