I'm currently supporting an engineering manufacturer that are looking to bring a Contract Product Design Engineer in on an initial 6 month contract, with potential for long term contract opportunity. Following significant investment into research, development and innovation, they are looking for someone to support a growing pipeline of new product development projects.
Key Responsibilities:
* Helping develop new products from concept through to manufacture
* Product design and development
* Mechanical design and CAD modelling
* Prototype development and testing
* Supporting multiple innovation projects
* Working closely with senior engineering specialists
Key Requirements:
* Mechanical Engineering background
* Product Design / Design Engineering experience
* Strong Autodesk Inventor capability
* Able to work independently and take ownership of projects
They're particularly keen to speak with engineers who enjoy solving technical problems and want to be involved in shaping products rather than simply producing drawings.
