Interaction Education is working with a well-regarded secondary school in Barnet seeking to appoint a Science Teacher on a permanent, full-time basis from September. The successful candidate will have a specialism in Biology.
This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated and knowledgeable Science Teacher to join a supportive department committed to high standards of teaching and learning.
The Role
Teaching Science across Key Stages 3–5, with a focus on Biology specialism
Delivering engaging, high-quality lessons that inspire student progress and achievement
Planning, preparing and assessing in line with the national curriculum
Contributing to the wider Science department and school community
Supporting students of varying abilities to reach their full potential
The Ideal Candidate
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Strong subject knowledge in Science, with a Biology specialism
Experience teaching in UK secondary schools
Ability to teach up to GCSE; A-Level Biology desirable
Effective classroom management and communication skills
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfare
