Hygiene Operative

We are an innovative food business based near Stratford upon Avon looking for a Hygiene Operative. Reporting to the Techncial and Operations Manager, you will be a key member of our Hygiene Team. You will work closely with all other departments and support hygiene activities on site and drive the hygiene culture of the site.

Key Responsibiities

* Ensure that company Feed & Food, Hygiene and GMP procedures are adhered to.

* Carry out scheduled daily cleaning tasks.

* Cleaning of process equipment / production lines & prodcution areas to meet required standards.

* Deep cleaning of production areas.

* Post Cleaning Checks.

* Stripping down / dismantling heavy machinery to clean heads and parts.

You will be comfortable wearing personal protective equipment and working in a factory environment. You will be comfortable using mechanical cleaning aids ie wet/dry vacuums, power washers, floor scrubbers etc.

You must be able to work at height and in confined spaces. (Full training will be given). Confident communication skills are vital for this role to liaise with other colleagues.

Previous production facility hygiene experience would be advantageous.

The role is Monday to Friday.

Please note this is a remote site not on a public transport route, and the use of own transport will be necessary.
