We are currently recruiting on behalf of a successful and growing main contractor seeking a Senior Site Manager to play a key role in the delivery of a diverse portfolio of construction projects across a variety of sectors. The successful candidate will take responsibility for the day-to-day management of site operations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the highest quality standards. Working closely with Project Managers, commercial teams, subcontractors and clients, you will be instrumental in driving successful project outcomes and maintaining the company's exceptional reputation.
Key Responsibilities
* Managing all on-site construction activities from commencement through to completion.
* Leading site teams and coordinating subcontractors to ensure efficient project delivery.
* Ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time and in line with programme requirements.
* Maintaining the highest standards of quality across all aspects of construction.
* Monitoring site progress and reporting updates to senior management.
* Managing site logistics, resources and labour requirements.
* Conducting site inspections and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
* Building and maintaining positive relationships with clients, consultants and supply chain partners.
* Identifying and resolving operational challenges to maintain project momentum.
What We're Looking For
* Proven experience as a Senior Site Manager within the construction industry.
* Strong track record of successfully delivering construction projects from start to finish.
* Excellent leadership and team management skills.
* Comprehensive understanding of health and safety legislation and site management best practices.
* Strong organisational and communication abilities.
* Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and maintain project performance under pressure.
* Relevant site management qualifications including SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid certification.
