How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Senior Recruitment Consultant / Principal Consultant / Team Leader – White Collar Construction

    Salary 30k to 55k + Excellent Commission Structure

    A well-established and growing Recruitment Agency based in Southampton is looking to recruit an experienced White Collar Recruitment Consultants to join their team.

    The company has built an excellent reputation within the construction market and offers a supportive environment, strong leadership and genuine progression opportunities.

    Due to continued growth, they are looking to speak with experienced consultants at Senior Consultant, Principal Consultant or Team Leader level.

    Candidates with experience recruiting within Main Contracting, Residential or Civil Engineering markets will all be considered.

    The Role:

    * Managing and growing a white collar construction recruitment desk

    * Building long-term relationships with construction clients and candidates

    * Business development and account management

    * Managing the full recruitment lifecycle from vacancy qualification through to placement

    * Mentoring junior consultants where applicable

    * Working towards individual and team revenue targets

    Requirements:

    * Previous experience working within a Recruitment Agency environment

    * Experience recruiting white collar construction roles

    * Background within Main Contracting, Residential or Civil Engineering recruitment preferred

    * Strong business development and relationship-building skills

    * Driven, ambitious and commercially minded

    * Team leadership experience beneficial for Team Leader level candidates
