How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Full Stack Developer

Salary: Up to £60,000 + Benefits
    Location: UK (Home-based)

We’re looking for a talented Full Stack Developer to join a growing, collaborative tech team working on modern, web-based applications that make a real difference.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working across the full stack, contributing to both front-end experiences and back-end services, while being part of an agile environment that values quality, innovation and continuous improvement.

    The Role

You’ll be working within an agile development team to design, build and maintain scalable applications built using a microservices architecture. The technology stack typically includes React on the front end, Java-based microservices, and SQL/Postgres databases.

Day to day, you’ll be involved in everything from building responsive user interfaces to developing APIs and collaborating with teammates to deliver high-quality solutions.

    What You’ll Be Doing

Designing and developing modern, responsive and accessible user interfaces
Building and maintaining APIs within a microservices architecture
Developing clean, reusable and well-documented code
Investigating and resolving technical issues and support queries
Writing and maintaining automated tests, including unit and Postman tests
Collaborating in sprint planning sessions, contributing to estimation and delivery
Integrating with third-party APIs and services
Continually identifying opportunities to improve tools, frameworks and development practices
    What We’re Looking For

Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS and JavaScript
Hands-on experience with a modern framework such as React or Angular
Strong back-end development experience, ideally with Java
Good understanding of REST APIs and microservices architecture
    Experience working with SQL databases
Familiarity with design or prototyping tools (e.g. Figma) is a bonus
Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to tackling challenges
A collaborative mindset and the ability to work well as part of a team
Self-motivated, enthusiastic and committed to delivering high-quality work
    What You’ll Get

    Salary up to £60,000
    Flexible, home-based working (UK-based role)
A supportive and collaborative team environment
Opportunities to learn, grow and develop your career
The chance to work on meaningful projects that have real-world impact
