How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

This role offers the chance to work on a prestigious project while contributing to some of the most significant engineering schemes in the country.

We are seeking a confident, client‑facing leader who can successfully manage PCSA, pre‑construction and delivery phases, while driving performance, collaboration and excellence across the project lifecycle.

    Key Responsibilities

    Operational Leadership

    * Take full responsibility for the operational delivery of a portfolio of engineering projects.

    * Coordinate offsite manufacturing activities to ensure programme, quality and commercial targets are achieved.

    * Lead teams in line with company values, fostering a high‑performance, collaborative culture.

    Health & Safety

    * Provide visible, proactive Health & Safety leadership across all project activities.

    * Embed a strong “safety first” culture within all teams and workstreams.

    Work Winning & Pre‑Commencement

    * Support bid and work‑winning activities by contributing to commercially robust and deliverable solutions.

    * Lead pre‑commencement activities, ensuring designs are coordinated, manufacturable and accurately programmed.

    * Ensure all design information is complete, accurate and suitable for manufacturing and installation.

    Risk, Commercial & Financial Control

    * Work closely with Senior Project Managers to identify, manage and mitigate project risks and opportunities.

    * Maintain accurate monthly forecasts and ensure strong cost, programme and commercial governance.

    * Lead monthly project reviews, providing senior leadership with clear visibility of performance and financial status.

    * Contribute to business planning and budgeting to support agreed profit and performance targets.

    Supply Chain & Quality

    * Manage specialist subcontractors and suppliers effectively.

    * Ensure all manufacturing and installation activities meet internal standards, client specifications and statutory requirements.

    * Drive continuous improvement across processes, products and quality outcomes.

    Customer Relationships

    * Build and maintain strong, long‑term client relationships.

    * Ensure project objectives are clearly defined and consistently delivered, achieving high levels of customer satisfaction.

    Project Completion

    * Oversee full project close‑out, ensuring alignment with quality, commercial and programme requirements.

    * Manage financial completion and lead lessons‑learned activities.

    What We’re Looking For

    * Proven experience leading multi‑project engineering or manufacturing operations.

    * Strong commercial and financial acumen with a track record of improving profitability.

    * Experience in offsite manufacturing or engineered solutions (desirable).

    * Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop high‑performing teams.

    * Strong understanding of Health & Safety, compliance and risk management.

    * Confident stakeholder manager, able to work effectively with clients, suppliers and senior leaders.
