How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Service Technician (Training Provided)
    £30,000 - £32,000 + Specialist Training + Progression + Overtime + Van + Company Benefits
    Essex (Ideally located: Chelmsford, Colchester, Ipswich, Harlow, Braintree, Stowmarket, Basildon or surrounding areas)

    Do you have Mechanical/Electrical experience? Are you looking to join a rapidly growing company offering full product training allowing you to develop your skills within a niche industry.

    On offer is this varied role, where you will work on a wide range of high-end equipment progress your career further, becoming a technical expert within your field.

    This market leading company specialise in equipment for grounds and turf care machinery. They are known for their first-class services as well as the way they treat their staff.

    This is a Monday - Friday mobile role, you will travel out to customer sites within a local patch, to undertake the service and repair of a wide range of equipment. Training will be provided to get you up to speed.

    This would suit someone looking for a new and exciting challenge with a market-leading company, where you will be fully invested in, whilst having an excellent work life balance.

    The Role:

    Service, Maintenance and repair of machinery at customer sites.
    Field based, covering a local patch.
