This is a key leadership position responsible for driving plant reliability, maintenance performance, safety standards and continuous improvement across a large-scale 24/7 manufacturing facility.
Working as part of the senior management team, you will lead multidisciplinary engineering teams, manage maintenance budgets, oversee major shutdown programmes and develop long-term asset management strategies.
Key Responsibilities
Lead all mechanical and electrical maintenance activities
Develop and implement maintenance strategies to improve reliability and performance
Manage maintenance budgets and capital expenditure projects
Drive health, safety and environmental excellence
Lead plant shutdown planning and execution
Utilise CMMS systems to optimise maintenance effectiveness
Drive root cause analysis and defect elimination initiatives
Develop and mentor engineering teams
Manage contractors and external suppliers
Support continuous improvement and operational excellence programmes
About You
Engineering Degree or equivalent qualification (apprenticeship)
NEBOSH qualified
Significant experience within heavy industrial manufacturing
Proven maintenance leadership experience
Experience managing large engineering teams
Strong budget management experience
Knowledge of CMMS systems
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Experience leading change and continuous improvement initiatives
