⏰ Hours: Tuesday to Friday 8am-1pm and Saturday 8am-12 noon (24 hours in total)
💰 Pay: £12.71ph
Key Responsibilities as Receptionist:
Welcome visitors and customers, directing them to the appropriate person or service
Process sales and payments accurately (face-to-face and over the phone)
Handle sales enquiries and prepare customer quotations
Escort customers to storage units and demonstrate access and facilities
Complete and maintain customer storage agreements and records
Answer phone calls and emails promptly and professionally
Maintain site security by screening visitors
Keep the reception area clean, organised and welcoming
Sort and manage incoming post and parcels
Clean storage units and surrounding areas as required
Support general administrative duties across the business
Carry out any additional tasks as needed to support the team
We are keen to speak with applicants with the following skills and experience:
Strong clerical and administrative skills are essential
Previous experience in a Receptionist or Customer Service role
Confident telephone manner and communication skills
Excellent interpersonal skills with a customer-first approach
Highly organised with strong attention to detail
Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure
Team player with the ability to work independently
Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word and Sage
