How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Key Responsibilities

As a Primary Teacher at Mountfield Heath School, you will:

Deliver high‑quality, engaging teaching across a range of subjects, ensuring continuity, progression and meaningful learning for all pupils.

Champion inclusive practice and contribute to the ongoing development of our SEN provision, working closely with families, external agencies and our in‑house therapy team.

Model effective teaching strategies and collaborate with Teachers and Teaching Assistants to support pupils with diverse needs.

Create a stimulating, safe and well‑organised learning environment that promotes independence, communication and core life skills.

Use assessment, data and evidence to set ambitious yet achievable targets, monitor progress and drive continuous improvement.

Contribute to whole‑school planning, curriculum development and behaviour approaches that reflect our ethos and priorities.

Build strong, positive relationships with parents/carers and the wider community, ensuring they are active partners in each child’s journey.

    About you

Degree/ QTS or equivalent qualification relevant to sector required.

A strong understanding of primary‑aged learners and how to help them flourish.

    A genuine commitment to neuro‑affirming, trauma‑informed and child‑centred practice.

Knowledge of statutory curriculum requirements, assessment and high‑quality teaching strategies.

The ability to adapt teaching approaches to meet a wide range of developmental and communication needs.

A collaborative mindset and the confidence to work closely with our Speech and Language Therapy, Occupational Therapy and Psychotherapy teams.

Experience in a SEND setting (desirable but not essential).
